State Representative Jonathan Shell has been endorsed by the National Rifle Association PVF in the Republican primary for the 71st District State House seat.
“Jonathan Shell is an avid sportsman and defender of the Second Amendment we can trust to protect our freedoms in the Kentucky House of Representatives,” said Daniel Hall, the State Liaison of the National Rifle Association of America.
“I’m always going to stand up for the rights of Kentucky’s gun owners and sportsmen. Liberals in Frankfort and Washington never stop looking for ways to limit our Second Amendment rights. I will be vigilant in making sure our guns rights are protected,” said Shell in response to the endorsement.
A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Shell is a farmer and a small business owner. He and his wife Brooke, have three young children.
House District 71 includes all of Garrard and Rockcastle Counties and a portion of Madison County.
